Rachel graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelors of Arts with a double major in political science and history. She has over nine years experience in working within the public and private sectors. She has vast experience in analyzing and interpreting Federal Government and
organization regulations, policies, and making recommendations to support decision making processes.
Rachel is currently a specialist in community engagement and social performance at Hatch and enjoys serving the unique needs of Indigenous communities.
During her seven year public service career, she was a founding member and later the Co-Chair of the Indigenous Employee Circle at the Canada Energy Regulator (CER), she assisted the organization in aligning with the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. She was also a founding member of the CER’s Diversity and Inclusion initiative.
